Happy 80th birthday

Today a fun card I created to my neighbor who turned 80 this last weekend. I hope the pictures will do this card justice as it is extremely sparkly and shiny.

Here is a close up on all the shine...

I am showing this card on the Simon Says Stamp - Anything goes challenge

Bat Mitzva card (Happy 12th birthday)

This is a Bat Mitzva card for a 12 years old girl. My son (it's his classmate) asked for a pop up card. I just love it that my kid are involved in my card making :-)

The base of the card and all of the text were cut with the Silhouette. The paper is from the Doodlebug Sugar Shoppe paper.

The card front reads (in Hebrew): Sharon is 12, and it was cut from vinyl.

The banner is cut with the EK Success Pennant mini punch and the owls are from the StampinUp Owl Punch.

Happy Birthday Exploding Cake Box

Today's project is heavy with picture. I was so happy with how this thing turned out, I couldn't just pick one or two pictures :-)

This project was created with the Silhouette using the 3d birthday cake explosion box by Lori Whitlock.

The beautiful paper is from the Floral Pavilion paper pad (I bought it on ebay)

This is how the box looks closed.

When you open the lid, this is what you see.

The butterflies are held with acetate strips so they look flying.

I added another strip on two of the flaps to hold the gift card and greeting.

Celebrate card

For today's card I used two new stamp sets "Super Script" and "Hennah Elements" from Altenew. I won them from the very sweet Darlene from the blog 'DarleneDesign.com". If you are not familiar with her blog and you are into card making, I encourage you to go check it out. She is amazing.

For this card I used lots of masking to create the layer effect. I stamped each image with Versafine black ink and then clear embossed it, I then colored them with Memento markers. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Luxe Lilac Posies and then clear embossed.

For the inside, I didn't want to leave it white, but I needed lots of room to write my message so I used the Tim Holtz ink spritzer and the same memento markers to create my own matching background.

Decorated baby onseies

My latest project was creating a gift to a friend who just had a sweet baby boy.

For the text and rings image I used freezer paper as a stencil and then I used fabric paint to color the images.

The bar was my first attempt to use the printable hear transfer material by Silhouette (link below in the supply list). I love it. I of course lifter it a bit earlier so it turned out a bit fuzzy, but I'm sure my next attempt will be perfect.

I am especially happy with the little skunk in the back.

I put the 3 onesies in a box  that I covered with patterned paper and decorated with some trains cut with adhesive cardstock.

Everything wrapper and decorated with some washi tape.

If you would like a more in depth tutorial on how I used the freezer paper or printable htv, please let me know and I'll prepare one.
